Purpose

This standard defines requirements and provides guidance to those involved in planning and undertaking the installation, testing and commissioning of axle counter systems on Network Rail managed infrastructure.

NOTE Whilst written to consider the initial (works) installation, test and commissioning, these requirements also apply, as appropriate, for subsequent re-installation, temporary removal/replacement, etc, e.g. during maintenance activities.
