This Standard specifies the graphical symbols for diagrams of measuring instruments, lamps and signalling devices.
NOTE 1 This Standard consists of the graphical symbols of which former numbers are 08-01-01 to 08-10-13 in IEC 60617. Annex A is for information.
NOTE 2 The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
IEC 60617 Graphical symbols for diagrams (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
