The aim of this agreement is for NATO Armed Forces to standardize in both peacetime and wartime:
a. Procedures for military rail movements crossing frontiers.
b. Cooperation by the military movement agencies responsible for the border crossing point.
c. Required customs, police and/or immigration formalities.
