Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Sechskantmuttern mit Klemmteil (mit nichtmetallischem Einsatz) mit Gewinde von M3 bis M36, in Produktklasse A für Gewinde bis M16 und Produktklasse B für Gewinde über M16, und mit Festigkeitsklassen 5, 8 und 10 fest.
ANMERKUNG Die Maße der Muttern entsprechen den in ISO 4032 angegebenen Maßen plus Klemmteil.
Werden andere Festlegungen benötigt, können diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen entnommen werden, z. B. ISO 261, ISO 724, ISO 898-2, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 und ISO 4759-1.
