PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This method determines the dimensional changes (shrinkage or stretch) that may occur in a fabric as a result of relaxation of strain when subjected to open-head steaming on a steam pressing machine. This method may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
