PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This method assesses the colourfastnes s of textile materials to wetting with sea water. It is applicable to dyed, printed and otherwise coloured fibres, yarns and fabrics of all kinds.

In the case of multcoloured materials, more than one tet may be necessary to cover all colours in the pattern.
