Argon shall be of the following types as specified (see 6.2).

Type I - Gaseous Type II - Liquid

intended Use:

The argon covered in this specification is intended for use in inert gas shielded electric arc welding of aluminum, magnesium, corrosion resisting steel and other alloys.
