This specification relates to expanded ethylene-vinyl acetate sheets and mouldings for use as resilient cushioning material for packaging and general industrial application. The material has a low water absorption and may be used outside a waterproof barrier. It is non-silver staining. The material may be used within the temperature range -20° to +50°C.

The load bearing characteristic of the material covered by this specification is as follows:

Maximum static stress 4.0 kPa.

The material is cross linked and can be thermoformed over a wide temperature range.
