PREFACE
This specialist glossary is compiled with the approval of the NATO Group on Materiel (ACSM) Standardization. Its purpose is to standardize packaging-related terminology used in packaging documentation throughout NATO, thereby promoting mutual understanding.
The specialist glossary is published in the two official languages of NATO, English and French. The terms and definitions contained have been approved by NATO nations.
The specialist glossary is divided into two parts:
Part 1. Terms and definitions of packaging significance in English.
Part 2. Terms and definitions of packaging significance in French.
