AIM

The aim of this agreement is to standardise test procedures for assessing the chemical life and temperature dependence of stabiliser consumption for nitrocellulose based propellants.

The test procedure was developed to facilitate the assessment of the chemical life of nitrocellulose based propellants for qualification purposes. The procedure does not address any possible effect, changes to physical and mechanical properties may have, on the life assessment of nitrocellulose based propellants.
