scope:

This specification covers requirements for a man's scarlet cummerbund.

The cummerbund will be of one type and size and the following classes as specified (see 6.2):

Class 1 - Scarlet with five horizontal pleats.

Class 2 - Scarlet with six horizontal pleats. Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to the Commander (PSE-D), Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA 22134-5010 by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.

intended Use:

The cummerbund covered by this specification is intended to be worn by officers and Staff NCO's of the U.S. Marine Corps.
