This Specification relates to Metal Rectifiers with output currents up to 10A or powers up to 1Kw., for use in Ambient Temperatures -40°C. to +85°C. It is primarily for components for use in Service equipment but other users are invited to adopt it if they so desire.
Two Grades are recognised as folIows:-
Grade 1, having reverse characteristics snitablo for use with Magnetic Amplifier circuits (for further details see Section 3.)
Note.-These units should not be used where their Special characteristics are not required.
Grade 2. Suitable for Power Packs and similar applications.
