This specification sets forth the requirements for equipment modules that are to be used in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) air traffic control automation systems. The FAA plans to purchase the equipment modules specified herein not only as part of system procurements such as Enroute Automated Radar Tracking System (EARTS), Automated Radar Terminal System (ARTS) IIIA and the New York TRACON System but also as independent equipment buys.
