AIM

The aim of this agreement is to define the test procedures to be used in determining the safety and suitability for service of munitions containing electro explosive devices (EEDs) and associated electrical/electronic systems/subsystems, in the electrostatic environmental conditions specified in STANAG 4235 for NATO forces. Guidance on electrostatic discharge (ESD) hazard assessment and testing is provided in AOP-24.
