scope:

This specification covers a support system complete with components and carrying case used with the woodland, snow, or desert lightweight synthetic camouflage screen system.

The camouflage support systems covered by this specification will be the following classes, as specified (see 6.2):

Type I - Support system with aluminum pole.

Type II - Support system with plastic pole.

Subtype A - Support system with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) batten spreader.

Subtype B - Support system with thermoplastic batten Spreader.

Class 1 - Woodland/Desert

Class 2 - Snow

When specified (see 6.2), the individual components will be one or more of the assembly components specified in 3.1.2.

The support assembly is intended for support of a lightweight synthetic camouflage screen system.
