scope:

This specification covers design and all performance requirements for the Approach Power Control Set AN/ASN-54(V). This set shall be for use in the power approach configuration only.

The Approach Power Control (APC) Set shall consist of the following items: (See 6.5.)

intended Use:

The sets covered by this specification are intended for use in aircraft to control angle of attack, and hence air speed, in the landing mode.
