- This document establishes the requirements for an open array antenna group. The group consists of a directional array antenna for the transmission of the Air Traffic Control Radar Beacon System (ATCRBS) interrogations and the reception of transponder replies and a separate omni-directional array antenna for sidelobe suppression pulse transmission. The directional antenna is intended for mounting on top of the ASR type primary radar antenna reflector. The omni-directional antenna is intended for mounting on a mast surmounting the ASR tower.
