This speciñcation defines the requirements for the manufacture and inspection of zinc alloy pressure die castings for Service use.
It includes a castings classification system for design use. The system is intended to assist the manufacturer and Inspection Authority by providing an indication of conditions of service and of the level of inspection to be applied.
