scope:
The Drug Interdiction Support and Enforcement Committee shall:
a. Serve as a forum for the exchange of information between offices involved in drug interdiction support and enforcement activities.
b. Coordinate responses to intra- and interagency inquiries when requested by the Associate Administrator for Civil Aviation Security, ACS-1, and other management officials.
c. Provide advice and recommendations to ACS-1 and other management officials as requested on matters pertaining to drug interdiction support and the regulation of controlled substances to the extent consistent with aviation safety.
PURPOSE. This order establishes the Drug Interdiction Support and Enforcement Committee.
