This INTERIM Defence Standard specifies requirements for textile reinforced vulcanized butyl rubber sheet intended for fabricating into weather-resistant protective structures.
The material shall be capable of being bonded to itself by a hot-vulcanizing technique using an intermediate unvulcanized rubber tape without the need to pretreat the adherends.
