Purpose. This notice establishes the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Director for DON Ordnance Safety and DOD Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology and Training (SEA 00V) effective this date. SEA 00V responsibilities include Department of the Navy (DON) authorities for ordnance safety and security, and Department of Defense (DOD) responsibilities for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technology and training.
