scope:
Purpose.
To announce and document the establishment of Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (Aegis BMD), Arlington, VA, as a NAVSEA field activity which was approved by reference (a), and to publish the mission, functions and tasks of Aegis BMD as required by references (b) and (c). The Aegis BMD field activity will be organizationally contained within the Aegis BMD Program Office, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), to provide Navy's support for the program.
