This second edition European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) is part of the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) Common Interface (CI) and specifies that set of technical requirements for DECT Fixed Parts (FPs) and Portable Parts (PPs) necessary for the support of the Public Access Service (PAS). It will also support other applications. Apparatus for which DECT PAS capability is claimed has to comply with those technical requirements of this ETS which are identified as provision mandatory.
