The aim of this Agreement is to:

a. Establish procedures for effecting emergency logistic assistance in a period of tension or in war, to the forces of NATO nations, international headquarters, or multinational formations.

b. Establish procedures to be followed for the reimbursement for such logistic assistance.

c. Establish procedures to augment and not to replace those in:

(1) STANAG 1062 - Procedures for Services Rendered and Supplies Transferred to Ships of NATO Navies

(2) STANAG 2034(LOG) - Land Forces Procedures for Allied Supply Transactions

(3) STANAG 3113(ACS) - Provision of Support to Visiting Personnel, Aircraft and Vehicles

(4) STANAG 3430(ACS) - Responsibilities for Fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft Cross-Servicing
