The component covered by this specification is a 16-inch diameter, round, high contrast, high resolution, cathode ray tube with 53 degrees magnetically driven deflection angle and electrostatic focusing. The faceplate shall be provided with a bonded implosion panel containing a color selective filter. The front face shall be etched and shall be coated with a special antireflective coating as specified herein. The tube is to be used in a bright radar indicator tower equipment (BRITE).
