This part of this European Standard specifies the nominal dimensions, tolerances on dimensions and shapes of hot rolled steel flat bars springs with three different types of profiles (A, B and C.). Formulas for the calculation the moment of inertia are specified in Appendix A.
This standard is applicable only to spring steel flat bars produced from steeel grades specified in in EN 10089.
