This Defence Standard specifies the technical requirements for interchangeable electrical measuring transducers for the measurement of electrical quantities. These transducers must be connected to one or more standard electrical indicators (SEIfs) to complete the measuring device. The technical requirements for the SEIts are specified in DEF STAN 66-7 (PART 1) and it should be noted that the SEIts may not necessarily be purchased with the transducers and will be scaled as stated in the contracts or as defined by its NATO Stock Number.
