scope:
This specification covers the requirements for a complete ambient and dew point temperature system of the resistance element type. This system provides for the measurement and display of ambient and dew point temperature at an airport. It consists of an ambient temperature sensing unit, dew point temperature sensing unit, ambient and dew point temperature displays, control unit, aspirator, thermal shield, monitor unit, and associated equipment.
