NOTE:
This guide specification covers requirements for automatic wet pipe fire extinguishing sprinkler systems for heated areas. System requirements must conform to Military Handbook MIL-HDBK-1008A, "Fire Protection for Facilities Engineering Design and Construction" and NFPA 13, "Installation of Sprinkler Systems." This guide specification is to be used in the preparation of project specifications in accordance with MIL-HDBK-1006/1 for Southwest Division projects.
