MODUK - TS 10285

Carboxy Terminated Acrylonitrile/Butadiene Reactive Liquid Polymer Type 2, QX

active, Most Current
Organization: MODUK
Publication Date: 3 October 1984
Status: active
Page Count: 8
scope:

This specification relates to a carboxy terminated acrylonitrile/ butadiene reactive liquid polymer for use, in conjunction with an epoxide resin, as an ingredient in high explosive compositions.

The designation 'Type QX' indicates that the material is of a quality suitable for certain applications where a high degree of compatibility with explosives is a requirement and the composition may therefore be restricted. However, compatibility with all explosives in all environments has not been established and Design Authorities should seek advice on particular applications from the Director, Royal Armaments Research and Development Establishment, Waltham Abbey, Essex.
