This specification eovers raised figure, rolled steel floor plates of commercial grade for use in english and boiler rooms, in machinery spaces, in industrial plants, in transportation equipment and in similar locations. These plates are not intended for spaces handling fuel oil or where floors with nonsparking properties are required.

Federal specification coverage. Federal specifications do not cover all styles, classes, and patterns which ara commercially available, but only those which are generally used by the Federal Government.
