scope:
Purpose. This pamphlet provides instructions for the implementation of approved changes to the Military Occupational Classification and Structure (MOCS) for the 1 April 1997 through 31 August 1997 cycle.
Applicability. This pamphlet applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard of the U.S., and the U.S. Army Reserve. Specifically, it applies to proponent agencies and personnel support activities involved in career management, field management, and military occupational specialty classification and structure. During mobilization, chapters contained in this pamphlet may be modified by the proponent.
