GENERAL
This PART of the INTERIM DEF STAN 59-85/1 specifies the requirements for Isolators and Circulators for Ministry of Defence use.
The Detail Specifications contained herein have been prepared in accordance with Section C of INTERIM DEF STAN 59-85/1 and are generally presented in the format adopted for,BS Specifications.
The individual specifications are in loose-leaf form and will be identified by this INTERIM Defence Standard number followed by a serial number allocated by the Directorate of Standardization eg 59-85/90/ØØØ. For convenience an index is printed overleaf.
It is essential that equipment designers work to the dimensions stated in the Detail Specification and not to individual specimens.
The amendment status of the specification will appear on the front cover of the Detail Specification. If more than three amendments are required the Detail Specification will be reissued.
