AIM
The aim of this agreement is to standardize the method of compiling gazetteers and digital names data files for use by NATO Armed Forces. This interim version (Amendment 2 to Edition 4) is intended to reflect the present method of compiling gazetteer products and should not be used as a guide for the development of gazetteer services. A future edition will address the services issue.
