The material defined by this specification is a grade of tinted float glass coated on one side with a reflective film of metal oxides over which is coated an intermittent opaque ceramic coating (DOT pattern) which will meet the test requirements as described in American National Standards Institute Safety Code ANSI Standard Z26.1, 1977, January 26, 1977, as supplemented by Z26.1a, July 3, 1980, incorporated by reference in FMVSS 205, February 23, 1984.
