Class 1 hose assemblies and stowage racks are intended for use with portable ventilating sets on ships where nonmagnetic equipment is not required. Class 2 hose assemblies and stowage racks are intended primarily for use with portable ventilating sets on minecraft and similar type ships requiring nonmagnetic equipment. This hose is intended to be used for desmoking shipboard spaces, ventilating holds, cofferdams, and unventilated storerooms prior to the entrance of personnel. This hose is not intended for ventilation spaces where hotwork is being performed.
