SCOPE OF DOCUMENT.

This UFC provides guidelines for evaluating, planning, and designing Navy and Marine Corps Outdoor Adventure Centers (OAC), Rental Centers (RC), and Outdoor Center & Other Rentals (OCOR). The information in this UFC applies to the design of all new construction projects as well as renovation projects. Renovation projects should update existing facilities to meet the guidance and criteria within budgetary constraints. This UFC is not intended to be a substitute for thorough review by individual Program Managers and Operations Staff in the appropriate Service during planning, programming, and design.
