This procedure defines the welding acceptance test for zinc, zinc/iron and zinc/alloy coated low carbon steel sheet. All such steels must pass a minimum of 2000 welds. Some may require a higher number of welds to failure. Consult the appropriate Engineering Material Specification for exceptions.
