This guide specification covers the requirements for commercial electronic security systems consisting of commercial equipment which is limited to a full range of interior point protection devices duress sensors, volumetric (space) protection sensors, simple exterior sensors limited to devices that can be hung on or attached to perimeter barriers, closed-circuit television (CCTV) for remote alarm assessment purposes, alarm signal data communications media, alarm reporting and monitoring systems, control systems.
