This standard sets forth the requirements for the preparation and validation of performance examinations used in the Airway Facilities Personnel Certification Program for FAA personnel. These examinations present a typical work situation in which personnel being tested perform a practical task which requires them to demonstrate the mastery of skills and "hands-on" knowledge required for the performance of their job.
