scope:
The policy and procedures of this instruction apply to all phases of NAVAIRHQ acquisition in ACAT's III and IV, including modification, SLEP, conversions, and acquisition of support and test equipment, trainers and training equipment. Due to time and personnel restrictions and the large number of ACAT III and IV programs, the Assistant Commander for Fleet Support and Field Activity Management (AIR-04) will direct the selection of ACAT IV programs for LRG review following policies and priorities contained in this instruction.
