This Standard specifies the requirements for a two component epoxide resin system, which when thoroughly blended in equal parts produces a mixture of putty like consistency. The putty sets to a hard, rigid mass within 24 hours at room temperature and is used as a general-purpose repair medium, for metal, wood and reinforced thermosetting plastic structures and components. It is also used for temporary repairs to electrical components and insulation boards.
