PURPOSE OF NASIS
NASIS is designed to improve message distribution by standardizing the identification of SUBJECT AREAS. The main benefits are increased accuracy, speed and reliability in distribution.
SCOPE OF NASIS
NASIS is designed for use in all NATO and national staff organizations. It can be used with manual and automatic distribution systems.
NASIS, in addition, has the potential and flexibility to be exploited as a means to assist in storage and retrieval of messages and other documents.
