Purpose

The purpose of the guideline is the creation of preconditions for standard training and recognised qualifications for technical personnel handling the design and use of strain gage measuring techniques. The use of strain gage technology, especially in investigations and tests relevant to safety, makes particularly high demands on technical personnel. Minimum standards are set in this guideline for training and examinations.

Students, who have attended the course and proved their successful participation via an examination corresponding to the guideline, will receive a certificate issued by the GESA and the course provider.
