scope:

This guideline provides guidance on how to interconnect devices and system components subject to the EMVG to form installations and systems in such a way that they operate as intended in their electromagnetic environment in building services without causing electromagnetic interference unacceptable to other devices/equipment/installations/systems present in this environment.

The guideline does not cover the requirements to be met and tests to be performed on the devices and components proper. Compliance with manufacturers' specifications regarding installation and maintenance is assumed, as is specified normal operation.

This guideline gives guidance for:

• users, maintenance service providers

• planners

• system installers

• other service providers
