This standard sets forth specifications, grading rules, grades and species, and design criteria for cooling tower components constructed of plywood. Plywood is not normally used for major structural components but is often used for components which carry continuous or intermittent loads and/or act as retainers for water or air. For design criteria unique to cooling tower structures refer to CTI Standards STD-103 (Redwood) or STD-114 (Douglas-fir).
