This Standard specifies stainless steel sanitary pipes (hereafter referred to as "pipes") used for the dairy, food, medical and pharmaceutical industries, etc. This Standard isgenerally applicable to pipes of outside diameters 25.4 mm to 165.2 mm.
NOTE : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 2037: 1992 Stainless steel tubes for the food industry (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standards andJIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
