Purpose of This Notice.
This notice contains updated guidance on the issuance of Operations Specification (OpSpec) B050, Authorized Areas of En Route Operations, Limitations, and Provisions, which allows certificate holders to land within the country of Cuba and/or overfly the Havana flight information region (FIR). This notice also highlights changes in requirements pertaining to travelers and air carriers intending to fly to Cuba.
