This Standard covers the basic dimensional requirements for external profiles for flanges for V-flange couplings used in aircraft for the purpose of coupling components to piping/ducting or effecting joints in piping/ducting. It also specifies a standard range of flange outside diameters for each of the basic external flange profiles and it includes the basic requirements for the associated coupling clamps.
