scope:
Purpose. The purpose of the Transmission Level Allocable Test (TLAT) is to measure the transmission portion of powertrain noise and vibration emissions as measured by the Powertrain Level Allocable Test (PLAT) procedures GMW14008 and GMW14238. The measurements are used to assess conformance to requirements for transmission noise and vibration.
Applicability. All Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) drive units, and hybrid, manual, and automatic transmissions.
